Alicia & Alex’s fall wedding was all about glam in the country, moody romance, and celebrating with their closest people. Their venue, Farmhill, one of the best wedding venues near Peterborough, set the scene with rustic charm and a touch of elegance. Tucked in the rolling hills of Kawartha Region, the upscale barn lent to the glam vibe of the day. Mini bottles of Tito’s, emotional speeches, and nonstop laughter made the evening wedding a night to remember.
Family & Meaningful Moments
Alicia & Alex made family the heart of their wedding. From first looks with their parents to heartfelt toasts, every part of the day honoured the people who shaped their lives. Alicia thoughtfully gifted Alex’s mom with her bouquet and also arranged for a special dance with her own mom. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Capturing these moments on film and digital allowed me to not miss a second while also capturing a timeless, nostalgic feel.
Dark Romance Meets Cozy Elegance
Alicia & Alex opted for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour to get the party started early and I LOVE this idea! Their golden hour ceremony was, well, crispy – but so stunning. While the autumn winds were whipping through the hills, guests snuggled together for a heartfelt ceremony and then headed straight inside for dinner. In the barn guests were greeted to a moody ambiance with tons of candlelight, deep burgundy florals, moody candlelight, creating an intimate and romantic vibe.
The Party Didn’t Stop
Once the dance floor opened, the real fun began. Laughter, epic dance moves (you know they popped off for Shania Twain) , and pure joy filled the dance floor. Alicia & Alex’s wedding was the perfect mix of sentimental and lively—a true reflection of them.
