Punta Cana Day After Session | Heather + Chris

Over a year ago I had this idea to run a contest for a Destination Wedding giveaway. If you follow my Instagram or Social Media you already know that an amazing couple named Heather & Chris won the contest. I joined them for their wedding this past April in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It. Was. Magical.
As part of the giveaway the winners would receive not only wedding day coverage but 2 other sessions while we were at their Destination. Heather & Chris have an adorable young family so they chose to spend some time at the beach with the kids while I documented their fun (check that out here). These two have a lot to celebrate so they chose to use their second session to embrace that newlywed feeling on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
If you’re having a Destination Wedding I COMPLETELY recommend a day after session of some type. The relaxed romance is unbeatable!!! Trust me, you will not regret it.

Heather & Chris were married at the stunning Royalton Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Their guests enjoyed a week of fantastic food, entertainment, and of course pristine white sand beaches. For this session Heather wore a beautiful and understated gown found by her mother on Lulus.com – I LOVED it!
I met these two near the scuba rental shop about an hour before the sun went behind the ocean. They had champagne in hand and sparkles in their eyes. The rest is history :).
