It's our job as artists to create cohesive client albums that showcase the best of their session or special day without overwhelming them. It's easy to get emotionally tied to the photos we make - that's where I come in! Sure there are AI services that can help you speed up your culling process, but so far none of them recognize emotion... pretty important. As an impartial 3rd party who is a REAL human and artist with a beating heart, I will curate your galleries to help you tell stories in the strongest way possible. Jen couldn't have captured our wedding day at the Broadview Hotel more perfectly. She is such a fun and relaxed person, and fit right in with our wedding party and family. My husband Steven and I were totally blown away by our wedding pictures. There are soo many good shots...it's impossible for us to pick a favourite. We also loved that Jen not only sent a few sneak peak pictures a few days after the wedding but also spent the time to put together a slide show while the rest of our photos loaded. Throughout all the twists & turns when it came to constantly changing rules and regulations, Jen was a total pro in her approach to making sure we were aware of the situation and what, realistically, we could expect for our wedding. Nestled in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, The Broadview Hotel played host to one of the most memorable weddings I've had the privilege to photograph - the intimate celebration of Jamie and Erik's wedding. This gorgeous evening was part 2 of Jamie &amp; Erik's wedding as they were legally married in 2020 when their guest list had to be curated to the extreme and their party vibes were seriously limited.
&nbsp;
As a photographer, my job is to tell a story through images, and this story was a joy to capture. From the moment I arrived, The Broadview Hotel's aesthetic and energy delivered as it always does. With its architectural charm and vintage elegance, it provided the perfect backdrop for Jamie and Erik's special day.
&nbsp;
The decor was one of the highlights of this wedding. Unique florals, soft lighting, lush greenery, and attention to detail created an atmosphere that was both romantic and inviting. It was clear that Jamie and Erik had put their heart and soul into making their day as beautiful as possible.

But the best part of the wedding was undoubtedly the couple's decision to spend as much time as possible enjoying the day. They mingled with their guests, tasted the excellent food, and danced the night away. Jamie and Erik understood that their wedding wasn't about posing for endless photos, but about celebrating with the people they love the most.

As the night drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel privileged to have been a part of Jamie and Erik's special day. Their wedding was a beautiful testament to their love for each other, and I'm sure it will be a day they'll remember for the rest of their lives. As a photographer, being able to capture these moments is the ultimate reward.

Welcome to the enchanting wedding day of Sarah and Travis, a day filled with love, warmth, and so much joy. The stage was set for their magical day in the heart of 100 Acre Wood in Picton, Ontario, an idyllic venue that perfectly encapsulated the essence of their love story.

The day began with Sarah and Travis deciding to do a first look allowing them to see each other for the first time on their wedding day, away from the eyes of their guests. It was a touching moment, one filled with raw emotion and pure love. Their first look was followed by a private vow reading, which was incredibly heartfelt and beautiful to witness.

What made this moment even more special was the signing of their marriage license in advance allowing Sarah's twin sister to officiate the ceremony, adding an intimate and personal touch to their wedding day. It was a testament to the bond between the sisters and a beautiful way to involve family in their special day.

But for me what truly set their wedding day apart was the time Sarah and Travis spent with their children throughout the day. Their commitment to making their children a significant part of their special day was evident. From involving them in the ceremony to ensuring they were part of every special moment, it was heartwarming to see a family so united in love.

Prince Edward County's 100 Acre Wood provided an enchanting backdrop to their day, with its lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere. As the sun began to set, the venue transformed into a fairy tale setting, with a bon fire illuminating the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Sarah and Travis's wedding day was a beautiful union of two people deeply in love. Their personal touches, the involvement of their family, and their commitment to each other and their children made their day truly special. A Magical Wedding Day at 100 Acre Wood: Sarah & Travis

OOOOOOFFFfffff&hellip; this wedding. THIS WEDDING! Where do I start with this gorgeous beast? First of all, let me say that this wasn&rsquo;t just a wedding, Ali &amp; John made sure that their Ontario Forest Wedding was an experience for their guests. They made sure to include so many of the things they love: their puppy, hiking, food, and of course nature, into their special 2020 wedding day. As I&rsquo;ve mentioned many times, 2020 was an extremely difficult year for our industry and our clients &ndash; but wow, if you were an optimist and able to find a silver lining&hellip; you could throw a damn amazing wedding. This particular forest wedding was tucked into a grove of trees on Ali&rsquo;s family property near Shelburne, Ontario. Naturally, I can&rsquo;t disclose the location but if this is the sort of vibe you&rsquo;re looking for, scroll to the very bottom and I&rsquo;ll give you some ideas for venues.
 Ali &amp; John wanted to make sure that their intimate guest list had an experience to remember. This included a stunning tent for a welcome champagne, a leisurely hike down a wooded path with the story of their romance lining the way, a beautiful ceremony in the trees, a special tree planting ceremony, a cocktail hour laden with flowers, and one of the most romantic table-scapes I&rsquo;ve ever seen. Let&rsquo;s not forget live music, something we&rsquo;d all been sorely missing!
 We had rain, wind, sun, and mud&hellip; so much mud&hellip; but I wouldn&rsquo;t trade my blisters &amp; soggy shoes in for the world. This may be one of my top 5 weddings of all time. Ok, enough talking, here you go &ndash; Ali &amp; John&rsquo;s Ontario Forest Wedding, a highlight of 2020.

Winter weddings used to terrify me.  The thought of bad roads, being cold (and possibly wet), plus the short daylight hours just didn’t appeal to me.  I avoided winter weddings big time.  Enter this Elora Mill Wedding – one I welcomed with open arms and was actually thrilled about photographing.  Elora Mill Weddings are actually a fairly new thing – this absolutely stunning historic venue has only been offering wedding collections since summer 2018.  I can confidently say that those of us in the Southern Ontario Wedding Industry are extremely thrilled about having such a gorgeous new space to work in!

 Erin & Nick came to me via another fantastic GTA Wedding Photographer and friend, Jenny Thompson (she’s amazing – check her out here).  Direct referrals are always my very favourite because great people tend to travel in packs.  Jenny did NOT let me down with this referral and I hope the feeling is mutual for this lovely couple.

 My time with Erin & Nick began at their beautiful home near Elora.  The guys were ready to party, Nick was ready to see his girl.  I asked him how he was feeling about seeing Erin and he actually told me he couldn’t talk about it for fear of bursting into happy tears.  What a way to set the tone for the day!!!  I made my way to Erin & her ladies who were getting ready at a beautiful little space on the Elora Mill Hotel grounds called the James Ross House.  She welcomed me with a huge hug, smile, and the BEST energy.  Her excitement couldn’t be contained as she got dressed and watched through a window as Nick arrived.  The good vibes just kept coming!

A romantic first look session in the Spa’s yoga room overlooking Elora Gorge was the perfect way to officially launch the wedding’s events.  I don’t think I could have dreamed of a better moment to photograph or space to do so.  A HUGE thank you to the Elora Mill Hotel & Spa’s co-ordination team and staff for making sure we were so well taken care of.

I really hope you enjoy peeking through these images – lord knows we had an amazing time creating them.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to Erin & Nick for a wonderful day that truly filled up my cup.  I think the world of you and hope our paths cross again soon! xo
