Junction Craft Brewery Wedding – NYE!

Okokok – SHAME on me… it’s almost exactly one year after this freaking AMAZING Junction Craft Brewery wedding and I’m only now posting it. What makes it even worse is that this wedding wasn’t just any ol’ random gig, it was the big day of my sweet friends Megan (also a crazy talented photographer – check her out here) & Corrie. Oh, and as a kicker, I brought my husband Rob along to help out and also be my cute arm candy (I snuck a couple photos of us in here). So yeah, I’m the worst.
But let’s get to the reason you clicked on this link – a New Year’s Eve wedding at a little local brewery with cool people, I know you won’t be disappointed. Here we go.
Megan & Corrie began their day together in their home with their beloved fur babies. It was bleak outside, dark & wet, but inside the apartment was cozy and full of excitement. They got ready (sort of) together and then exchanged a low key first look moment on the front porch before we hopped in a cab to their favourite pub – it also happened to be the location of their first date. We explored the area in the drizzle then they snuggled up in a booth before their wedding party & families arrived to raise a glass. What a great way to kick off your wedding festivities!
The next stop was dinner at the Westerly… yep dinner BEFORE the wedding (I know, these two are cool right?) with under 20 people and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. After wrapping up there we all made our way to the Junction Craft Brewery for the actual wedding – and as you can imagine, it was cool AF. I was sure I would cry at some point during the ceremony or speeches but my hyper-focused “don’t screw up your photographer friend’s photos” drive took over and I didn’t crack. It was a beauty from start to finish – the highlights for me were Corrie playing a couple songs with his friends (he crushed a fave Tom Petty song of mine) and of course the late night McDonald’s delivery.

THANK YOU Mr & Mrs McKay for having us document your day. I’m so proud of the way you did things completely your way – watching you have so much fun (even in drizzly cold weather) made me so freaking happy. I love you both to bits!! xoxo
