There are literally hundreds of stunning wedding venues in Ontario, yet I keep managing to discover more spaces that I’m dying to return to. Enter the Northridge Inn in Sundridge Ontario — a venue that redefined my perception of a perfect wedding location. Tucked up on the shores of Lake Bernard, Northridge Inn is a gorgeous space packed with picturesque spots for wedding moments. I was fortunate enough to photograph my first wedding at this venue on assignment for my dear friend and colleague Danielle Meredith Photography. She was kind enough to recruit me (and trust me) with her sweet brother-in-law and his darling fiance’s special day so that she too could enjoy it with family. Thank you so much for having me Dani, Ben, & Victoria!
The highlight of this venue, without a doubt, is the beautiful grounds. Imagine saying your vows on a long dock extending into a sparkling blue water with the sun shining overhead! It’s a scene straight out of a romantic movie. Was I slightly blinded by the full summer sun? Maybe. Was it worth is? Absolutely.
The decor at Northridge Inn is perfect for anyone with a love for the eclectic and modern, yet rustic aesthetic. It’s a unique blend of the old and the new, of the traditional and the contemporary. The rustic charm of the wooden structures, perfectly complemented by modern elements, provided a stunning backdrop for the wedding day and well into the night.
Northridge offers on-site accommodations for not only the wedding couple but also for a large number of their guests! Chalets, glamping tents, beautiful inn rooms, and even a vintage Airstream are the perfect solution to keep guests comfortable and safe. I had major FOMO when I left for the evening, next time I’m definitely sleeping over!
Last but not least, the food at Northridge Inn deserves a mention. As a photographer, I’ve had my fair share of wedding meals, and this one was particularly tasty. The gourmet dishes were as photogenic as they were delicious.
All this to say, The Northridge Inn is a photographer’s dream come and I’m DYING for someone to bring me back as their photographer. For couples looking for a unique and unforgettable venue for their big day, and for photographers eager to capture beautiful moments in a stunning setting, I couldn’t recommend Northridge Inn more highly. Photography has always been more than just images to me—it’s about holding onto the moments that matter most. The raw, unfiltered bits of life that tell our stories.
My approach is candid, vibey, and unposed whenever possible (don’t worry, I still gently guide your portraits when needed). I believe every emotion—joy, laughter, quiet tears, the big and small—is deeply beautiful and deserves to be remembered.
As your wedding photographer, my job isn’t to stage your love—it’s to witness it, document it, and let it shine in its most authentic form. Because at the end of the day, these aren’t just wedding photos. They’re the moments that will bring you back to exactly how it all felt.
I’m so glad you’re here—I can’t wait to get to know you!
